Independent investigative reporting is hard, expensive, and dangerous to do correctly. We take the legal exposure. We take the physical risk. We bring back documented evidence of waste, fraud, and abuse. On camera. On the record. In the public's hands. When you give to Muckraker, you are not subsidizing a newsroom. You are commissioning the next investigation. The next operation in enemy territory. The next organization forced to answer to the American people. We take the risk. You put us there.
If you choose a recurring monthly gift, your payment method will be charged once per calendar month, on the same calendar day as your first donation, in the amount you specified at signup. Recurring charges continue until you cancel. To cancel or modify a recurring gift, email support@muckraker.org or reply to any donation receipt; we will act on your request within a reasonable period after receiving it. Each charge will post to your bank or credit-card statement, and you may also instruct your financial institution to reverse any debit.
Muckraker Foundation, Inc. has applied to the Internal Revenue Service for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Final determination is pending. Contributions are not currently tax-deductible. If our application is approved, deductibility will generally apply retroactively to our date of incorporation in accordance with IRS rules. State Registration Disclosures.
